MSFDN is a registered charity that aims to support, develop and transform the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged young people and young adults aged between 14 and 30 years old, including those affected by invisible medical conditions such as Sickle Cell and Mental Health disorders.
Our vast range of events, projects, workshops and campaigns provides vulnerable and disadvantaged young lives an outlet for expression, education and opportunity. Using music, media and other creative art forms and initiatives as a base of activity, MSFDN aims to support and transform the lives of young people by strengthening and building; well-being, confidence, personal & creative skill set development and access to opportunity. We offer positive experiences helping to build positive futures on a platform where voices are heard and talent is nurtured.
MSFDN strive to mitigate barriers for young lives by helping them to unlock their potential and become the greatest possible version of themselves by offering engagement in personal, creative and opportunity based activities.
We bring groups of young people together, giving them access to arts and media-based opportunities to increase their teamwork, communication and leadership skills and to give them the tools they need for on going self-development. We provide opportunities to participate in personal development projects, campaigns and events. We also provide on going support and mentoring to young people as they seek to be the best version of themselves.
We work in partnership with third-sector and commercial partners to develop opportunities that meet vulnerable young people’s needs, broaden their horizons and raise their aspirations. Our activities encourage young people to re-engage with their communities, and to use their leadership and influencing skills for the benefit of the community and other young people.
